When it decides to befriend Swallow it has an ulterior<br>motive that does not involve love or taking vows. It finds that it has a<br>lot to learn when things take a turn and become more than it bargained<br>for.<br>*<br>RAVEN AND C'ELIE: A LOVE STORY<br>(A novelette)<br>A couple discovers that love does not discriminate and the gods know<br>what they're doing. The problem is convincing others.<br>*<br>HARD CHANGES (A novelette)<br>Randa is a woman who lives a rough life in an isolated area on<br>Boucher's World. After her mate goes missing she finds herself fleeing<br>into the forest with her children to hide from men who would do them<br>harm. She discovers that her children and a small kitten they have<br>befriended have unusual abilities akin to the ones of the Elwists beings<br>she was raised to believe are demons. Then she meets them and learns<br>what they actually are.<br>*<br>BRIDGE (A novel)<br>Randa's saga continues. She discovers that like her children all Humans<br>born within the last two decades are psychics. Though she was born too<br>late to be one of them she becomes an essential ingredient in the<br>establishment of a society that bridges the gap between the old ways and<br>the new and the lives of the Elwists and Humans become inextricably<br>intertwined.</p>
