A month before this year's competition neighboring Swaymark launches an attack on the east coast shattering the two countries' shaky truce and forcing Fjorden to balance tradition with war.</p><p><br></p><p>Princess Sofia must hold her kingdom-and herself-together as each of the five champions prepares to fight for the throne. But the gods have plans of their own. Although the champions can defeat each other no one can defeat fate.</p>
