Flemington

Set against the backdrop of the Jacobite uprising of the early 18th century Flemington follows the life of Flemington a young Scottish man who becomes embroiled in the political and social turmoil of the time. The protagonist Flemington is a member of a prominent Scottish family. His life is turned upside down by the Jacobite rebellion which seeks to restore the Stuart monarchy to the throne of Britain. The novel explores his personal struggles loyalties and the impact of the political upheaval on his family and community.
