<p>In the early 1900s many of the girls that came to the Convent to learn were from different backgrounds and situations.</p><p><br></p><p>In <em>Florence and the Convent</em> Florence is a nervous nine-year-old girl whose father wants the best for her and her future. Florence's father takes her to the Convent so she can become a properly educated lady after losing her mother.
