Flowers of Thankfulness

<p>Faith </p><p>It was a tree in my head </p><p>Covered with gifts </p><p>When I looked at it at first </p><p>But as time passes by </p><p>It is a dependable cane to soothe leaning on it </p><p>Any pain and tears </p><p>On the steep hill of life </p><p>That storm and blizzard often rage. </p><p>If I am with you I love </p><p>Holding the cane of faith firmly </p><p>Even though I fall in the puddle of death suddenly </p><p>As my fountain of courage spurts </p><p>Enough to cross it vigorously </p><p>Without trembling with fear. </p><p>The cane of faith </p><p>That I received without any qualification or price </p><p>Is your own noble gift </p><p>That I can't buy or get </p><p>Even for anything on this earth. </p><p>Whenever the waves of life rage </p><p>Please let me gaze at Moses </p><p>To stretch out the cane of faith powerfully </p><p>Crying Don't be afraid! Stand still </p><p>And see what the Lord will do </p><p>To save you today. </p><p>To the people who bawl out with resentment </p><p>In front of the Red Sea that enemy troops run after.</p>
