Food and Nutrition Security among mothers and their children in Uganda

Food and Nutrition Security has been extensively researched by many scholars and yet still remains complex. This book presents a new dimension regarding the potential effect of stability on the 3 concepts of food availability food access and food utilization in 2 differing communities. Nakapiripirit District lies in the Northern Karamoja sub-Region of Uganda commonly known for Issues of instability. Whereas Mityana District is located in the central region of Uganda. Furthermore the research targeted mothers and their children below the age of 5 years who are more vulnerable to food and nutrition insecurity.
