Food from the rubbish bin? Dumpster diving? Yes! That's right - there are people who take food that is still safe to eat but has been thrown away by supermarkets out of their rubbish bins and eat it. But why do they do that? What are the different motivations that drive dumpster divers? And how much edible food can actually be found in rubbish bins? What is the deal with best-before dates? And isn't rummaging through supermarket bins illegal and dangerous? I explore these questions and more in this book... and even climbed into rubbish bins myself for my research.
