About the Book: The only journey is the one within. The four batchmates of Presidency College born at different places and times were destined to meet at some point and their got intermingled till the fag end of their life. They were lost in their respective dreams during the turbulent period of the 1970s; their college days. Those days life was very close to living in paradise till one of them was caught in the web of the Naxal Movement and left them forever. After graduation the other three headed in different directions and during their journey they struggled to cope with realities and crises; each in their own way and ultimately found the common path to live a meaningful life. After many years their paths crossed again as they got involved in a noble cause. About the Author: Kamal Mazumdar held a Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering from Jadavpur University Calcutta and did his Doctorate Degree from Gandhigram Rural Institute (India). He has worked for the Ministry of Drinking Water Government of India and served United Nations Organization (UNICEF) office in India for a brief period. He has represented the Ministry in the drinking water sector on various National and International forums including a visit to the USA Netherlands Japan Philippines South Africa Senegal and Fiji Islands. He has several articles and book publications (all technical). His first Novel Memories -An Autobiography was published by Zorba Books (India) in 2016. He is retired from the Government of India service and lives with his wife Sankari in Calcutta. Their daughters Sraboni settled in Lucknow (India) and Ajita resides in Canada.
