Footsteps

I never meant to write a book about Jesus. I just wanted to read the <I>bible</I> for myself at least once all the way through as an act of respect for my ancestors. After all I am built out of these folks and their God.</p>Sunday school taught stories to mold me into a moral human being. How? Fear-hellfire and brimstone if I misbehaved. Old Testament stuff.</p>Churches still scare me. In fact that seems to be their strategy.</p>The New Testament is different. As it turns out Jesus is an anarchist! An anarchist is anyone that does not need the law or a cop to tell them the right thing to do. Jesus drives responsibility and freedom down to their most fundamental level into me.</p>What is right in this world? If I just listen I know it in my heart. In the human heart all is known. This is what Jesus shows me the open door between the human heart and the Holy Ghost.</p>I invite you to take a look into your own heart to see if what I say in <I>Footsteps</I> is true.</p>
