For Life: Poetry by Emma Briggs

This poetry manifests the uniquely global perspective of the authors experience. After sailing the worlds oceans for fifteen years campaigning for the environment on Greenpeace ships Emma has returned home to Australia to express her vast love for our planet through words as well. In efficient and elegant verse she acknowledges the terrifying reality of the climate crisis and our uncaring governments. She explores many of the fascinating and diverse aspects of life on Earth and comes to the conclusion that we have no choice but to give everything we have to defend our own existence and that of all other living beings.
