For Papa

That's why I'm so excited to share my first book </span><em style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Papa</em><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(15 17 17 1)> with the world. It's only fitting that my first book is named after my father the ultimate girl's dad to my sisters and me. He was our rock our mentor and our best friend. What's even more special is that we were his rock too-during the good times and the bad through all the hardships and challenges we faced as a family and especially when he was sick. We would always listen to his thoughts and he would listen to ours.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>My father's journey as an immigrant from India a Sikh man with a strong work ethic and a heart full of love is a testament to the power of resilience and determination. He came to this country with a dream of building a better life for himself and his family and he worked tirelessly to make that dream a reality. He never complained always put in his best effort and was dedicated to providing for us. Even after long business trips he would head straight to the office always putting his family first.</span></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Every parent does the best they can to their ability and my father was no different. He may not have had the easiest life but he always put us first and did everything in his power to provide for us. I believe the love and devotion my father received from my mom and his daughters was his greatest strength. He was our king and we will always remember him as such.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Unfortunately he passed away during Covid like so many others but his legacy lives on through us and through this book. This book is not only a tribute to his life and our family's journey but also a reflection of what I learned and how I carried on during that time. My relationship with my father was beautiful. I felt his love and protection. My father's words continue to guide me. I hope this book will inspire others to find strength and resilience in the face of adversity and to cherish the special bonds they have with their loved ones.</span></p><p><br></p>
