Forced Displacement: Issues & Challenges

Dr. Sudesh Kumar Aryan was born in 1985 in a small village (Sangrambhata) district Kishtwar of Jammu and Kashmir. He is an Assistant Professor of Sociology in the Department of Humanities Social Sciences and Education GD Goenka University Gurgaon Haryana. He completed his BA MA sociology and M.Phil with first class from Jammu University of J&K. He holds a Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of technology (IIT Roorkee) Uttarakhand India under the MHRD fellowship. During his Ph.D programme he also worked as a teaching assistant for five years in the department of Humanities and Social Sciences IIT Roorkee. He has also qualified UGC/NET/ JRF in Sociology. He has more than ten years of research experience and is an expert in qualitative research. His research area is forced migration gerontology gender and social issues environment sociology social mobility and sociology of development. His teaching subjects are Sociological theory Environmental Sociology Sociology of Indian Society Contemporary Sociology Research Methodology Research Ethics Rural Sociology and Sociology of Science and technology. He has published 13 research papers in well reputed national and international journals such as sage publication Epidemiology journals and other UGC care listed journals. Moreover he has also three book to his credit namely Humanitarian Cerebrations and Pandemic in -India Developmental Projects and Implications for the Society: The Dul Hasti Project and Issues and Problems in Sociology of Jammu and Kashmir. Beside teaching and research he is also working as a reviewer of the journals like international knowledge press Current journal of applied science and technology International Journal of Climate Change and Environment and journal of social science (science publications).
