Foreign Aid and Journalism in the Global South

<P>This book examines the way foreign aid has shaped journalism in the Global South and argues that it played a central role in defining the core values of news reporting in these countries which in turn had their own ways of communicating news. These attempts were met with resistance which at the end created the South's own journalism grammars.</P>
