FORENSIC EVALUATION OF CARRION INSECTS OF EUTHANIZED DOMESTIC FOWLS

The book uses uses domestic fowl as a model for human forensics studies using a commonly used suicide agent dichlorvos (sniper) insecticide to unravel abundance growth indices and succession patterns that can be extrapolated to solving human suicide cases. The study that produced the book used feathered and defeathered domestic fowls that could represent wearing of clothes and removal of same under crime situations when the cadaver is moved and reflected in carrion insect colonization development and succession patterns that can assist forensic crime experts in estimating post mortem interval (PMI).
