Forests Our Friends

Forests are the lifeline of the Earth. They give us fresh air attract rain and help stop soil erosion. Forests keep the climate cool and reduce noise and pollution. Home to many animals and birds they are rich in biodiversity and provide us with food wood and medicine. Trees in forests absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen making the air clean. Forests also support water cycles. To protect life on Earth we must save forests and plant more trees.
