Forever Friends?

A funeral and a murder mystery. The scene is set for the story which covers some thirty years in the lives of four women who meet through their work in further education. Over the years they have to overcome not only upheavals in their working lives but also their own personal problems. Adultery addiction and domestic violence are just some of the issues with which they are faced but no issue is more significant than the ultimate betrayal of their friendship. Have the consequences of this betrayal led to the murder of the man at whose funeral we first meet them? Is one of the four friends guilty of taking such a definitive revenge? Ultimately they will need to answer the question of whether they will indeed remain Forever Friends?
