<p><em>Home is supposed to be where the heart is. But what happens when the home is gone?</em></p><p>When a devastating fire destroys Jett and Keanna's house Keanna barely escapes with their four-year-old daughter. Jett takes an opportunity to race in California for a charity event and she can't help worrying that he's falling back in love with the spotlight he left behind.</p><p>Jett swore his racing days were over when he married Keanna and started a family. He wants quiet mornings bedtime stories and a life that doesn't flash by in a blur of cameras and crowds. But fame is a hard habit to shake and old sponsors aren't ready to let him go.</p><p>While rebuilding their lives from the ashes the family adopts a retired police dog no one else wants. He's stubborn scarred and in desperate need of a home they don't have right now. Living with her parents juggling a four-year-old and trying to hold on to what matters most she has to decide whether to keep fighting for the life they built or let Jett chase his dreams again.</p>
