Four-Month Nightmare

Most people hope to find love in their lives. When you are a single parent finding the right person can be more complicated. But that does not mean one wants a loving relationship less. In her book Four-Month Nightmare: Take the Time to Know the Signs author Lillian Stinson introduces April Washington a strong African American single mother. When she meets Bobby Miller she hopes he is “the one.” He’s nice caring attractive and helpful. He has a past but April can look beyond that as long as Bobby stays out of jail. Things start out well but when April wants to take things slowly Bobby would have none of it. He turns into a mean hurtful heartless man. April has to take quick life-changing action to keep her and her daughter safe. Stinson is not unfamiliar with the drama April and her daughter go through in Four-Month Nightmare: Take the Time to Know the Signs because she went through a similar experience. And like April with the help from God family and friends she got her life back.
