Fourier Optics Laser Speckle Imaging and Cascaded Interferometers

About The Book

This book is considered useful for the undergraduate and graduate students of optical engineering and computer science. The information is basically dependent upon the Fourier transformations and convolution operations given in the Pioneer text book of J.W. Goodman “Introduction to Fourier optics and holography’. The basics of Fourier Optics is presented in chapter 1 giving diffraction examples of important apertures used in laser optics and diffraction from sinusoidal amplitude and phase grating. Application on laser speckle imaging using modulated apertures are given. In addition new interferometers called cascaded two and multiple beam are presented and applied on microscopic images like Corona virus and Erythrocytes blood cells. These are presented in the next fifteen chapters.
