Foyle's War-The Series

<p>This is a reference book on the TV series Foyle's War which comprised 28 episodes and was produced between 2002 and 2015. It includes all episodes in date order complete cast listings numerous photographs and a story synopsis for each episode. Michael Kitchen starred as Detective Chief Superintendent Christopher Foyle who was based in Hastings Sussex. The stories take place during World War II beginning in 1940 and continuing into 1946 when Foyle worked for the secret service. Foyle is a middle-aged widower with a grown son who is a pilot in the R.A.F. Foyle is assisted in his investigations by Samantha Sam Stewart who is his driver (Foyle does not drive a car) and Sergeant Paul Milner a former policeman who lost a leg in action in Norway and rejoined the police force when he returned to England. </p>
