<p>The death of Kimberly's husband Edward left her riddled with guilt; guilt for not being able to give more of herself when he was alive. Her missing past might not be unconnected. A past that eluded her and caused her distress every time it tried to break through.</p><p></p><p>Speaking of the past the resurfacing of Edward's estranged and unspoken childhood friend was disconcerting. Kimberly never knew Jon Codell when Edward was alive.
