As chance would have it the two teens fall in love and before long Nadia becomes pregnant. Desperate to make it right Nadia marries Tyler and the two young parents make a conscious effort to be responsible despite the challenges faced in adolescence. This story is told in the voice of a young girl struggling with the inner conflict of dealing with the heartbreaking reality of mental illness and domestic violence.</p>
