<p>In this murder mystery Lexi Fagan lands a job as a receptionist at a San Francisco think tank. Her life seemed to be getting back on track after her boyfriend Jerry's suspicious death when Lexi's boss is found murdered in his office. Homicide Detective Robert Reiger who formed a bond with Lexi during the investigation into Jerry's death asks Lexi to become his eyes and ears inside The Freedom Institute. As Lexi navigates office politics and hidden agendas the suspect list grows by the day. Everyone at the Institute has secrets-and someone is willing to kill to keep theirs buried.</p>
