Freedom

Jacob left his hometown of Reading in the colony of Pennsylvania with his fellow friends in order to fight for freedom from the rule of the English Crown. In time Jacob found himself attempting to survive the winter encampment of the Colonial Army at Valley Forge. During this encampment he is on a foraging expedition when he is injured and left to survive on the merciful treatment of an old widow woman. Eventually he met a young lad by the name of William who possesses a secret which in time alters the destiny of Jacobs life. In the end Jacob settles in the Northern Providence of Mexico which is now THE STATE OF TEXAS.
