"I am not going to waste space reliving my past, because that would be useless information for you. Ultimately, you will either like, love or despise my poetry, and I will respect your opinion in either case.Maybe, what you are interested in is why poetry for me. Poetry is a way for me to take all of the ingredients for life, throw in a few veggies, stir in my own seasoning for flavor, then, put a lid on it to simmer.The emotions associated with each of my poems are expressed in my point of view after witnessing certain behavior from the paths that I have crossed either on land, sea or in the air. Unlike a reader of my first published book of poetry, entitled “Poetry in the Key of Life,” she felt that the pain she recognized in some of the poems was somehow reflections of my personal life. I explained that any pain expressed was a reflection of pain, disappointment or other sadness that had ricocheted through my life by others. If I had experienced that much pain, someone would have written in my obituary that she didn’t die, she just got fed up.At this point I celebrate the MAJESTY in my life by EXPLORING, DISCOVERING, ENDURING, and BEING INTREPID. With these qualities in tow, any new experiences that I have will enable me to have meaningful FRIENDSHIPS – a vessel to be loved and admiredWatch for my first paperback book Men are Most Happy in the Company of Men."
