From Addict to Disciple

<p><span style=color: rgba(83 92 105 1)>As a recovering addict I have discovered that I must rely on God's grace to get me down the road to recovery-a daily moment-by-moment walk with Jesus Christ. His grace is undeserved favor and cannot be earned. God's grace is a free gift to each of His children. It's my choice whether or not I receive His gifts of grace which include salvation eternal life deliverance from addictions and the gift of the Holy Spirit.Also I have discovered that an attitude of gratitude is necessary for my recovery. With the help of the Holy Spirit I am thankful in every circumstance because I am saved from the pits of hell due to my faith in Jesus Christ! Jesus did not have to do what He did-He died a horrible death on a cross as the final payment of my sins. Jesus paid the debt that I never could which leaves me in awe and with a grateful heart for the wonderful things He did for me! Jesus deserves to be praised often each day! I am sure to thank Him for all that He provides such as food shelter the ability to write and earn a living the people in my life trials sickness addictions and salvation. The good and the bad combined help lead me to Jesus' saving grace.</span></p><p><br></p>
