From Pathetic To Prophetic

<p>Man has attempted to explain and manipulate the infinite wisdom of God.  The Church is suffering the consequences of this pathetic notion. Prophetic ministry has been relegated by many as predictive.  Those glued to events and dates are reminded that God has spoken by His Son and there is a ministry in the earth today divinely enabled to give the spiritual interpretation of all He said.  God’s purpose for prophetic ministry is much higher and the time of His purpose is right now.  We must be keenly aware that only the Holy Spirit is able to unveil the riches in Christ.</p><p>1 Corinthians 2:11 (NIV) states “For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.”  Man pitiably strives to interpret God’s wisdom apart from His Spirit. Christ is the power and wisdom of God!  The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (Revelation 19:10).  The Prophet is the Lord Himself.  All things are spiritual at this point.  Simply knowing what the Word says is not prophetic ministry.  As ministers of righteousness our lives must be indistinguishable from true prophetic ministry.</p>
