From Protest to Empowerment

America has laid her foundation upon the backs of chattel slavery and exploitation. Once slavery was abolished America thrived under the continued exploitation of Black people along with the rest of her proletariat through various forms of oppression. Now is the time for those of US who want to end the exploitation and oppression of the People to get involved.<p>Kommon Knowledge states in many of his poems that WE must become involved through resistance organizing and increasing our awareness in a society where some of the laws support injustices and where maintaining order only serves to uphold exploitation.<p> From Protest to Empowerment: Manifesto X & O is a collection of politically charged socially conscious poetry that picks up where As WE Proceed: A Movement for the People leaves off.
