<p>This book written by Farida Ahmadi takes you into the world of a group of migrant women from various minorities. These women come from different countries cultures and backgrounds each with their own perspectives and experiences. Yet they all fall into a category labeled by Norwegian officials and sociologists as non-Western immigrants. However this book does not aim to represent all women within this group. Instead it focuses on those whose lives in Norway are fraught with numerous challenges. These are women facing complex struggles that not only impact their own lives but also pose difficulties for Norwegian authorities. This book is a narrative of the experiences of living in a space that while safe has marginalized them and tested their identities and differences.</p>
