<p>Four families travel across the ocean to a new land British Colonial America to begin a new life. When George Washington's soldiers return to their towns they hear of a place of corn and wine known as Ohio. Eventually these families venture to an area along the Little Miami River that was wilderness far from the promise of corn and wine. They were the Stubbs the Worleys the Watkins and the Bakers. As they persevere with little sustenance each family has a member with a strong industrious trait that grants them prosperity. The Stubbs own mills. The Worleys become Shakers. The Watkins build an international company. The Bakers are noted apple growers in the state. Included are historic photos maps and family trees. Learn of their struggles and successes over a two hundred year period and learn of the background from where they came.</p>
