Fruit Foot Fanny

<p>Meet five year-old Fruit-foot Fanny. She is  like no other girl her age. She sings in restaurants eats standing upside down and loves her alone time. Fanny has the most amazing imagination and is an inventor extraordinaire. On top of all that she also possesses an especially unique gift: she grows fruit from the tops of her feet. Fanny grows the type of fruit of whichever person is thinking about and loving her most at the time. Fanny has so many people who love her that her feet are constantly busy.  One day while working on her newest top-secret invention she starts growing strawberries her father's favorite fruit. But he keeps thinking about her and thinking about her and thinking about her until there is a strawberry emergency! What will Fanny do as her house is flooding with strawberries? As usual she has a brilliant idea. With her girl power quick thinking and inventiveness Fanny re-purposes one of her inventions and rallies the neighborhood to work together to rescue her house and put the strawberries to good use. The day ends with a special neighborhood celebration. This whimsical story with equally delightful illustrations speaks to the power of imagination love and community. </p>
