Fruits of the Spirit

<p>The fruit of the Spirit is one of the greatest evidences of a life that has been transformed by God. While many believers desire power victory and spiritual authority Scripture teaches that true spiritual strength is inseparably connected to godly character. The fruit of the Spirit described in Galatians 5:22-23 as love joy peace patience kindness goodness faithfulness gentleness and self-control is the visible expression of the Holy Spirit's work within a believer. These qualities reveal not only what God is doing in a person's life but also the extent to which that person is becoming more like Christ. The fruit of the Spirit is important because it reflects the very nature of God. God is not only powerful; He is also loving patient faithful and good. As disciples of Christ we are called to represent Him on earth. We are ambassadors of the Kingdom of Heaven and our lives should display the character of the King whom we serve. When believers walk in the fruit of the Spirit they become living testimonies of God's grace mercy and transforming power.</p>
