Functional Audit of Primary Health Centers of Dhule

In this book focus on the rating values of various dimensions with respect to range shows the potential area of excellence or improvement which may be helpful for policy makers to decide the strategy for deployment of human resources and release of funds.It is intended that this functional audit will provide a basis for improvements in various dimensions of PHCs such as buildings in terms of functional area at various infrastructure services provisions. “The trust has been on qualitative improvement in the health services through strengthening of physical facilities like provision of essential equipment and consumables construction of buildings and staff quarters of medical and paramedical staff and in-service training of staff.” The functional audit is done for the different dimensions on the basis of assessment each item of which is rated on five point scale. The observed score is converted into weights of five point scale which are calculated by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP).
