Fundamental Rights: Challenges And Developments

THE FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS: CHALLENGES AND DEVELOPMENTS titled the book reflects critically the basic concepts and objectives of of the Constitution particularly the fundamental rights in the constitution of India. The relation between preamble and fundamental rights has been elaborated. The book enlightens scope of personal laws and judgments within the definition of law and the recent interpretations in connection therewith. The changing contours of equality justice liberty freedoms and religion  have been chronologically portrayed. Special provisions for the advancement of women children and downtrodden people including economically weaker sections of the society their fundamental rights affiliated to their advancement and limitations in view of judicial decisions have been explored and criteria for reservations have been discussed at length. The Present work explores the contemporary issues and challenges brought by changing societies in the legal atmosphere particularly by the Information and communication technology in the field of citizens rights has been explained with judical decision of Supreme Court and High Courts in India.
