Fuzzy Impertinence

It is futile to abuse Shadow—for whatever you hurl at it returns to you. Kick it and your own foot will ache; mock it and it mocks you back. Only a smile can pacify it. There is but one Master—God—and all others are His reflections. To live in harmony we must tolerate our kindred and uphold morality the code of discipline set by Him. Our delusions bring fear; only by mastering the mind and facing the Devil within can we prevail. Caring for the less fortunate earns merit while indulgence in sensual pleasures weakens the soul. True brightness comes from duty Scripture and aspiring for God’s vision. Life should be worshipful pure and light free from illusion with happiness as God’s blessing. Anjali A. Nair studied at St. Joseph’s Anglo-Indian School Calicut. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English Literature from Providence Women’s College Calicut and Calicut University securing high first-class results at both levels.
