'G & S: Ghazals and Sonnets in Conversation' is<span style=background-color: rgba(241 243 244 0.5); color: rgba(32 90 36 1)> collaborative work between two Australian poets Ross Donlon and Tric O'Heare. Ross has written the ghazals and Tric the sonnets. The pair's concept was to write a sequence of 50 poems where a poem in one form would be answered by a poem in the other form. What was interesting for them in the creative process was that both responded intuitively to the preceding poem rather than by say subject matter. The triggers have come from anything in a poem a single word an image or an issue. The range of material and tone in this conversation is therefore very wide and engaging both for readers and in performance.
