This story describes how Mustafa a British-born Pakistani comes of age in a small English town. It's the 1970's and we watch how life is for young Asians in a predominantly white town. As he grows up the book follows his experiences and his naive honesty provides the reader with a very simple outlook on life. Friendships are forged and hard decisions have to be made. It's an exciting book that appeals to readers from all backgrounds and ages.
