Gangsters of Virtue

I graduated from Anacostia Senior High School in 1985 and went in the US Army. I wanted to tell a sad story and maybe convince one person to help me. Lawrence Lester and Morris Jackson of the 1969 DC Blacks Mafia conspiricy trials all paid a high price for their crimes. Let's stop the next generation of fatherless children in our communities from giving in to a fad of crime and due to prison experiences that cuase black males to suffer emotional ignorance. The U.S. drug war and black on black youth violence must stop. These things are hurting our young and I wish that the story of my amazing family could make someone with real power look at the drug issue from another angle. Anyone can become a drug dealer. We need more Teachers Doctors Scientist Mathematicians and Lawyers not drug dealers.My Mother brothers and sisters had to live with shame the fact that our Father could be in prison for life with eight mouths to feed.
