He had his PG and PhD degree from Vikram University Ujjain MP. He taught Hindi language and literature in various colleges for 38 years while in the MP Higher Education Service and retired in May 2007. He was active in Hindi theatre as an actor and director. He has published four collections of poetry: Hell is Never Ashamed Good Days Will Come It Wasn''t Like That Before and Obstructed Debate four long poem collections: Beyond the Path a story collection: Fir Woh Ek Din two prose books: The Character of Poetry and Challenges and My Color Concerns. He has also published five one-act plays and two edited books of contemporary Hindi poetry. Poems have been published in several collaborative collections. Some poems have been translated into English along with some Indian languages. He had been honored by various organizations for teaching theatre and poetry. He died on April 25 2021 in Ujjain.
