<p>This book is a compilation of stories humor and history of the <strong>Garrett Family of Kilmichael Mississippi</strong>. As told by some of the children and grandchildren of Bettie and John Garrett it contains homespun remedies for ailments homemade toys and funny situations in the early 1900's. The 182-page book also contains brief family <strong>ancestry information</strong> including surnames <strong>Evans Garrett Garner Stewart Grantham</strong> and <strong>Chesteen</strong>. <strong>Big Black High School</strong>'s entire <strong>1947 yearbook</strong> is included along with ads and sponsors. All 13 of the Garrett siblings are featured along with some of their stories traditions and life contributions. This is a labor of love to capture and share these intriguing stories before the recollections are lost.</p>
