Gateway to the East

Was born in 1951 in a small townin Central North Carolina. I wasraised on a small farm but since timeswere hard both of my parents workedin town during the week. I savedenough money to go to college whenI graduated from High School andgraduated from NC State University.After graduating from College Ijoined the US State Department inWashington DC. I worked there for3-4 years during the tenure of HenryKissinger.After this I returned to NorthCarolina and started my own lumberbusiness which I ran for approximately20 years. The major emphasis of my business shifted to import-exportabout 10 years ago and as a result moved to my new home of CharlestonSC. This had been a dream since I had visited the town as a teenager.Have a wonderful family and 9 grandchildren.
