Gender Dimensions in Training & Development at the ICT Sector in Egypt

This book examines gender aspects at the information and communication technology sectors in Egypt taking a case study approach that focuses on female employees'' involvement in training and developing activities for skill and capacity building. Training activities reveal the gap between the ICT employees as female employees in the case study hold administrative positions while their male colleagues were allowed more technical and expensive training opportunities. The study ultimately reveals the heavy daily work demands on female employees which hinder their career growth potentials.
