Gender Equality and Disability Inclusion

<p>This publication looks at barriers faced by many women and girls living with disabilities in Asia and the Pacific. It provides guidance on inclusive approaches to project and program design implementation monitoring and review.</p><p><br></p><p>The publication outlines how development work can recognize respect and incorporate the voices and lived experiences of women and girls with disabilities. Drawing on case studies and covering diverse sectors it explores how adopting social and rights-based models that recognize barriers to participation can make development strategies more effective.</p>
