Gendered Responses to Male Offending in Barbados

<p>This book explores the decisions made by the various stakeholders who play a role in the incarceration of men in the Caribbean. It argues that these decisions are based on patriarchal perceptions and stereotypes related to familial roles of men and women and by extension their motivations for offending.</p>
