Genealogical Record of the Descendants of Thomas Brownell 1619 to 1910

<p>Thomas Brownell and his wife Ann were of English descent; it is speculated that they came to this country around 1639 after their marriage in 1638. As of 1647 they were settled in Aquidneck Rhode Island. This settlement was the home of a little group of men and women who had been driven out of Boston Mass. because Hutchinson and Mrs. Hutchinson had seduced them into dangerous errors.</p><p>In 1895 the compiler became interested in collecting genealogical data of the descendants of Thomas and Ann Brownell. Having been very successful in accumulating a large amount of data and as he was in receipt of many inquiries from other members of the family he decided to publish the results of his labor in book form for the benefit of present and future generations...</p><p>These detailed genealogical records open with Thomas Brownell (1) of Derbyshire England born about 1619; and end with Henry Dwight Brownell (1463365) born August 4 1820.
