General histology course

This manual is the result of twenty-nine years of teaching experience in the first year of medical studies at the Faculty of Medicine of Annaba in Algeria. It is structured according to the ministerial program in nine chapters starting with the introduction to the study of histology and then the four major families of tissues: epithelium connective tissue muscle tissue and nerve tissue. This is actually the basis of the teaching of the Human General Descriptive Histology Module based on a concise text. It includes many clear and relevant diagrams as well as exceptional photographs from a bibliographic synthesis of courses and books on general histology. In summary this document should help 1st year medical students to better understand histology.
