Geography

This book arose from the need to understand a little more about some aspects of pedagogical practice involving the teaching of geography. In addition to bringing in various elements that today's society demands such as the inclusion of new information and communication technologies in this subject it also offers a possible proposal within the perspective of meaningful learning from Ausubel's point of view. Furthermore it discusses some issues inherent to geography analyses the importance of developing creative activities and addresses research reading and interpretation of local geography and teaching methodology focused on learning about geographical space.
