<p>Geomorphic features in Valmiki Ramayana has been written to compare the changes in the features like rivers mountains forests etc. from the time of Sri Rama’s reign with present day. Because of changes of names of places environmental and physiographic changes by human activity and natural calamities it had been very difficult to compare the geomorphologic features. Other Ramayanas have been consulted along with geomorphology and geology literature. The travelogue of Dr. Ram Avatar was a great help. </p><p>Besides controversy of Ram Sethu geographical knowledge of Sugriva (maps have been drawn on the basis of the description) and administration during the reign of Sri Rama have also been dealt. Overall the book can be very useful for the researchers in the field of botany archeology forestry geology etc. </p>
