Gerald Grasshopper Moves to New York City

One morning he finds himself traveling in a big jar to New York City. There he finds a family who adopts him as a pet. They take him to visit their neighborhood and share the things they love together. When the mommy notices Gerald might be approaching the end of his lifespan the family sets him free in the garden next door. Shortly thereafter a young grasshopper turns up outside their window.
