It presents a detailed picture of the replacement army as it existed just before its complete collapse. This supplement discusses important developments connected with the administrative organization and functioning of the replacement army aided Allied personnel by directing them to the right places for the answers to specialized technical questions regarding conscription replacements or military schools and training and also helped in checking the accuracy of information on the German home army to be demanded of the Germans themselves.
